Talk about Metaphors
"The album's first single, "Crush," fits the Archuleta model like a glove, from its crooned "Ooooooo, wooooaahhhhooooh" intro to its octave-hopping runs to the overpronounciation of words like "tuh-ruth." It's a relatively pedestrian treatise on puppy love — a trail that folks like Paul Anka, David Cassidy, the New Kids on the Block and Justin Timberlake blazed long ago. And paved. And built streetlights on. And added a moving walkway to."
